So my first instinct was to put a picture of my cat on the app. She’s adorable and deserves to be on everyone’s phone.

When you press the button it plays a sound clip of a cat, not Ella’s voice, but some random cat from the internet. If I had a good recording from Ella I would totally prefer to use her real voice.

Here is the behind the scenes image of the app. It’s obviously very simple. I don’t understand why it uses weird language for the pieces. Why does it say “When button 1 click do” instead of something like “When button 1 is pressed…” also the second pieces should say “play Sound1” rather than its weird broken english.

I also made this program too. Here’s how it works, When you open it, it looks like this:

Then when you press the text box it does this:

It changes the color of the text box to blue. But then when you press enter and exit the text box it changes to a light red:

Then when you press the button it gets rid of the keyboard for you.
The program feels very both very simple and overly complicated. There’s very little room for any kind of creative expression. If coding is a vast ocean that’s too deep for you to take the class into. Then this is a glass of water we can’t even do anything with. I wish we learned even the basics of any kind of coding language. I think it’s complicated because of the language used by the puzzle pieces, it feels like broken english when there’s no reason for it to be like that.
